Technique: watercolor pencils used with water brushes   /  Técnica: lápices acuarelables usados con pinceles de agua

    I just tested my new Staedtler's watercolor pencils, that I have found on a really great price (in Spain) so I had the urge to buy them hehe

In comparison with my old Alpino's ones, this box have more colours (36 vs 24) and the white zone on the tips is supposed to protect the wood from the humidity from direct water use, but the reference color that covers the pencil is more accurate with the colouring tone in Alpino than in Staedler.

Apart of that, I have to say that technically speaking, for me both of those brands seems equally good and have pretty nice colors. I will try and make a more exhaustive comparison just in case it could interest someone

   Sólo estaba probando mis nuevos lápices acuarelables de Staedtler, que encontré con un precio increíble (en España) y tuve la necesidad de comprarlos jeje

En comparación con mis viejos Alpino, esta caja tiene más colores (36 vs 24) y la zona blanca en las puntas se supone que protege la madera de la humedad cuando se usan directamente sobre el agua, sin embargo, el color de referencia que recubre los lápices es más preciso en relación al tono de la pintura en el caso de los Alpino más que en los Staedtler.

Aparte de esto, tengo que decir que técnicamente hablando, para mí, ambas marcas parecen igual de buenas y tienen unos colores preciosos. Ya intentaré hacer una comparación más exhaustiva por si a alguien le interesa
